I wanted to add my voice to the chorus of praise for the training we received. it has been a very long time since I have enjoyed training as much as I enjoyed this. What added to the enjoyment was the company and enthusiasm of my fellow course participants.

What is Mediation?

Mediation involves families in conflict working out arrangements for themselves and their children with the help of neutral and skilled mediators. The aim of mediation is to reach an agreement which is mutually acceptable to the parties within the broad range of that which a court would be likely to approve.

Information: Esna Bruwer practices as a Social Worker duly registered with the Board of Health Care Funders. She is further registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions and the South African Association for Social Workers in Private Practice (SAASWIPP). She is a FAMAC accredited mediator and specialises in divorce and family mediation as well as assessments. She obtained the degrees BA(Social Work) and MA(Social Work) at the University of Stellenbosch. She is currently working in private practice in Paarl, Western Cape. Her experience of 17 years comprises forensic work, custody evaluations, adoptions and intervention with children and families. She is married and has two children.
