- I specialise in Family/Divorce Mediation and believe that the family matters. I specialize in mediation, co-parenting in high conflict relationships, and family estrangement. Work history: 13 years in the criminal justice system (Magistrate, Child Welfare Commissioner and gender-violence specialist). For the following 19 years I was the Director of the UCT Transformation Office, where I established and managed UCT's policies and practices in dealing with mediation, gender violence, racism and discrimination. I worked as mediator, trainer, and relations specialist, and with communities battling with conflict, gender-based violence and discrimination. I am a member of and accredited with FAMAC (Family Mediators' Association of the Cape) working primarily as a Family Mediator and Parenting Co-ordinator. I work with estranged families, assist with Parenting Plans and help dads to build better relationships with their children.
